Round 1 done…

Taz has ticked off the first big milestone… 7 days of induction chemo — done!! Wooohooo!

(Note this video was taken prior to commencing chemo, but seems too good not to post to celebrate the completion of this first milestone)

Taz has so much going for her in this fight. She is young, extremely fit and healthy, tough, brave and inspiringly positive (as per).

Following chemo, she’s now feeling “pretty wiped and a bit rough”, which is to be expected. The next few days should (hopefully) be a bit kinder as things settle. But in the scheme of things, she’s fairing very well.

For now, she’ll remain in hospital mostly isolated and laying low while her immune system recovers.

Next steps will come once doctors assess how this round has gone.

So at this stage—it’s rest, recovery, and patience.

She’s handling it all with a lot of quiet grit (and still the occasional well-timed one-liner).
